Meet Robert
Robert is a husband and father of two. California born and raised. He is a dedicated and experienced public servant working to make San Rafael a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
Robert and his wife Linda chose San Rafael to raise their family for its strong community, safe neighborhoods, and beautiful outdoor spaces. Robert is running to bring thoughtful and transparent leadership to City Hall.

Accomplishments
New playgrounds and community upgrades across San Rafael, including at Peacock Gap Park, Albert Park, Boyd Park, and Pickleweed Park
As a Park and Recreation Commissioner, oversaw and approved San Rafael Parks Department’s first ever Master Plan—setting the vision to prioritize and fund future projects
Secured funding for safer crosswalks along Pt. San Pedro Road for our kids, families, and people with disabilities
Collaborating with the City and County to resurface the East San Rafael corridor with new slurry seal pavement
Successfully advocated for landscaping at Fire Station 55 to beautify our community
Coordinate with community and City staff to maintain our sidewalks and median landscaping along Pt. San Pedro Road
As a Marin County Planning Commissioner, approved of new affordable housing projects with a respect for the existing character of our communities, public safety, and environmental impact
As a Public Art Review Board Member, reviewed and recommended public art installations throughout the City to beautify our public spaces

In his free time, Robert likes to be with his wife and two energetic toddlers, take walks along the Pt. San Pedro esplanade, and might be spotted at Andy’s Local Market, shooting hoops at a local basketball court, or hitting golf balls at the Peacock Gap Golf Club.
