San Rafael City Council

The election for San Rafael City Council will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

San Rafael's City Council is made up of four Councilmembers, each elected by and accountable to the district where they live, plus a Mayor elected citywide. Together, they govern and make decisions on behalf of the entire city.

District 3 encompasses east San Rafael and part of the Highway 101 corridor, including the Peacock Gap, Glenwood, Loch Lomond, Country Club, Dominican, Montecito, San Rafael Meadows, and Civic Center neighborhoods.
